Most password attacks from India and Brazil

A dictionary attack is a method of breaking into a password-protected computer or server by sequentially entering every word in a dictionary as a password.

Dictionary attack is an age old technology and is still popular today due to its simplicity. Its efficiency lies in that fact that still many people prefer to have common words as their passwords since their ease of remembrance. For instance, five words including “password”, “qwerty”, “baseball”, “dragon” and “football” are common dictionary words out of the ten worst password list for the year 2014.

Imagine despite of being such a basic attack in nature, how many systems and servers still stand vulnerable to this attack!!!
