The Phishing website in action:
Upon entering the login information, the page navigates to webpage stating “We will temporarily lock your account. Please answer a few security questions to ensure that the actual owner of your account. We will provide 1X24 hours, to verify the identity of your account. If you do not confirm, the system will automatically shut down your Facebook account permanently. This information will help us to restore your Facebook account“
Upon entering the full name and security question, the a new webpage gets opened asking for Paypal or Credit Card details. The page states that “Please enter your details this is. You will not be charged, this is a completely free quote from Facebook, Facebook put your information protection very seriously. To learn more about this, please visit our Security Help Center. ”
